Networking Through the Cooperative

If you are someone in our community who provides a valuable service or product to pregnant women and families networking with The Birthing Tree Cooperative may be the best advertising you can do.  We can help you reach a large market of women preparing for pregnancy, who are pregnant, and who are parents.  We enroll new clients monthly, all of whom receive information about our networking organizations.  The Birthing Tree Cooperative takes great pride in finally providing a much needed hub of information and services for pregnancy, birth and parenting.  We reach our clientele through a quarterly newsletter, our website, resource packets, posted fliers, and most importantly, word of mouth from satisfied clients.  There are different ways to utilize this direct contact with pregnant women and new families.  Here are a few ways that you can market your unique services through The Birthing Tree Cooperative.

Quarterly Newsletter:  We have a mailing list of over 300 (and growing!) pregnant women, parents and professionals in our community.  Our mailing list is constantly updated and includes all new class participants and doula clients.  The feedback is overwhelming that people are reading and enjoying The Birthing Tree Cooperative quarterly newsletter.  We have created the ever popular Classified section of the newsletter where one will find “used baby gear for sale”, “community announcements”, “products for sale”, “looking for,” and “services”.  Your entry of 100 words or less is posted here under the heading of your choice. 

Prenatal Resource Packet:  The Birthing Tree Cooperative serves hundreds of women in classes from the beginning of pregnancy to childbirth preparation and through the first postpartum year.  We also have doula clients and a host of other women in the community looking for local resources.  Our Resource Packet is given to every woman who utilizes our services.  The packet includes information about The Birthing Tree Cooperative, a current issue of Mothering magazine (donated by Mothering), and printed materials from those who provide services in our community, e.g., prenatal and postpartum massage and yoga, therapists, cloth diaper service, activities for infants and children, and mothers groups.  You are invited to include your own printed material; brochures, fliers, promotional offers and business cards in our Resource Packet to promote your services to hundreds of women and families.
