Fertility & Prenatal Support

Tera Judell
Tera Judell, PhD, MSW, RCST, RPP I have been working in the field of women’s health issues for the past 30 years. Over the last 20 years, I have created a therapeutic process specifically geared to working with women’s fertility issues, health and wellbeing prior to conception, through gestation, birth and after birth. The foundation of this process is that it concerns the “body” and the “mind.”

My work is integrative, meaning that it includes both talk therapy and bodywork. This process brings together both my clinical skills together with bodywork modalities, which include trauma therapy, craniosacral therapy, prenatal and perinatal psychology, yoga, breath work, meditation and somatic experiencing. The use of gentle physical touch blends these diverse modalities, and makes this therapeutic process powerful. Negotiated contact helps the body to settle more easily and become present with health and clarity. Settling the nervous system can be missing in a talk therapy session.

I have found that women dealing with fertility issues benefit from a body-mind process. Below are some of the issues that commonly need support:

• Stress
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Fear
• Overwhelm
• Relaxation
• Family Concerns
• Self Empowerment

My research and experience also indicate that active support for a woman enables her to become more confident in herself and more comfortable in her relationship with the prenate. Contact Tera at 917.597.9698

Placenta Preparations

Emily Waltz
Emily Waltz became interested in placenta encapsulation after her significantly different experiences with post partum. She feels that ingesting her placenta after her second child was born was the most effective supplement she used in her postpartum period. The placenta is a precious and essential gift your body provides for your baby during pregnancy and after birth, it becomes a gift to you, the mother, as well. Emily has been encapsulating placentas for postpartum moms since the beginning of 2012. Since she has experienced first-hand how placenta medicine works, Emily is more than pleased to be able to share her personal experience and provide this essential service to other mothers in the Santa Fe community…
